  2. Admission Criteria
    • NMAT by GMAC™ score range : Our last year’s NMAT by GMAC average score was in the upwards of 200. Please note that MISB Bocconi does not indicate any “cut off” restriction; a high test score is definitely helpful, but – for instance– an average score could be compensated by the candidate’s excellence in other areas. A strong score however will increase your chances of admission, tuition waiver and scholarships.
    • Work Experience requirement, if any : Freshers and young executives with work experience of up to five years.
    • Interview Process : Post Online Application Submission, candidates are shortlisted for Personal Interview conducted in major cities or online.
    • Group Discussion process : NA
    • Any other requirement in the admissions process : Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Students pursuing their final year of graduation can also apply. We also accept CAT/GMAT/CMAT and GRE. If the scores are unsatisfactory, students can take Bocconi Test to improve their chances of admission.

    • How does one apply for the programme ? The candidate will have to visit the MISB Bocconi website for application to the Post Graduate Program In Business (PGPB). The candidate will have to then follow the steps and instructions given under the admission process, fill up the application and pay the application fee of 2000 INR. Please Visit our website:

    • When does the application process start ? The application process starts from September and happens in 4 rounds. R1 submission deadline: 25th Nov. R2 Submission Deadline- 25th Jan, R3 and R4: To be confirmed
    • What is the last date to apply ? The last date of application will be as per various rounds mentioned above. Earlier rounds have an advantage as higher amount of tuition waivers are available to be disbursed.
  4. What is the Admission Process ?
    • Submit the application form and fee online. Once the application is submitted and the fee of 2000 INR is paid, the shortlisted candidates are communicated their interview dates. Interviews are conducted online or in person in certain specific cities.
    • What was the NMAT by GMAC™ score cut-off for accepted students for 2016 intake ?
    • What constitutes work experience ? We consider Full-time/part-time, employee/self-employed, apprenticeship and articleship as work experience. Employment as trainee, articleship during CA/CS or in a non-supervisory position shall not be considered. The achievements on the job and value addition to the candidate during employment are assessed during the interview.

  5. Fees & other expenses
    • What is the estimated cost for the entire program for a student ? The total fee is INR 1825000 plus applicable taxes at time of payment. This does not include the Milan expenses, travel, stay and food.
    • What is the cost of living for the duration of the programme? We facilitate hostel accommodation, which is provided based on availability and first come first serve basis. The students can approach the admissions team after completing due formalities of selection. The Hostel details, fees and application form are available on MISB Bocconi website.
    • Are there other costs to be taken into consideration? If yes what ? Tuition fees for the Milan semester are included in the program fees. Cost of accommodation, airfare, visa, permit and food has to be borne by students. For detailed information visit the MISB Bocconi website.
  6. What is the financial support option available to students ?
    • What are the scholarship options available for NMAT by GMAC™ students ? MISB Bocconi is offering merit based tuition waivers upto 80% for the admitted candidates with an outstanding profile. Dean’s Award and women’s scholarship can be granted to admitted students based on merits and will be at discretion of the admission team. In addition to this we have Rotaract and AIESEC member scholarship
    • What are the criteria for determining scholarship applications ? There is no separate application required for availing scholarships. We look at academic consistency, extracurricular activities, test scores, and performance in the interview.
    • What are the options of availing a loan ? The candidates are requested to approach various Banks on their own accord. MISB Bocconi will assist with on board financial institutes/ banks like Axis Bank, HDFC Credila and Avanse.
    • What is the loan amount that a student is eligible for and what are the documents required ? The candidates are requested to approach various Banks on their own accord for details on educational loans. We can connect the students with Axis, Credila and Avanse.     • At What rate of interest is the loan available: What is the date from which loan repayment begins? What is the maximum period in which a loan is to be repaid ? Please visit MISB Bocconi website for details on loans facilities.
    • Does the Institute/School help in getting loan : Yes, we shall assist in the process although other details shall be directly coordinated by the student with the bank.

      Our students come from 18 different states In India and Nepal. The 4 months semester in Bocconi, Milan is a compulsory part of the PGPB program.Incoming to MISB Bocconi:
      1. Master of Science (PGP Level in India) from Università Bocconi, Milan, Italy (25-30 student) every January/February for a 3-week Campus Abroad Program from several nationalities.
      2. Master of Science (PGP Level in India) from ESADE Business School, Barcelona - Spain (45 students) every year for a one-week Study Tour from several nationalities. 
      3. Executive MBA Students from the Rotman School of Management (25-30 students) every year for their Omnium Global Executive MBA Program, a one-week Study Tour, from several nationalities.
      4. Master of Science (PGP level in India) from ESSEC Paris and Bocconi double degree (20 students) for the fall semester
